Gregory Philips, 62, of Painesville, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at his residence. Born April 13, 1958, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County. Greg loved motorcycles and cars. He enjoyed car races, playing with his grandchildren and going out with his wife, Sheila. He was the beloved husband of 28 years to Sheila K. (nee Lark) Philips; loving father of Gregory R. (Kerri) Philips, Kris Philips, Rebecca O’Brien, and Heather (Brandon) Ramacciato; cherished grandfather of Cory, Troy, Luke, Elizabeth, Alexis, Dylan, Lila and Gunner; son of Helen (nee Shimko) Zurbola; brother of John (Sandy, dec.) Philips, Charles (Eva) Philips, Bruce (Pat) Philips, Rebecca (William, dec.) Fishley, Roseann Philips, Vivian (Anders) Georgsson, and Anthony Philips; and uncle of nieces and nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Charles Philips; and brother, Gary Philips.
