| About Me | Stop telling God how big your storm is, instead tell the storm how big your God is. I have a very warped sense of humor. I guess my favorite saying is, "If I was any better, I'd be twins and then we'd all be in trouble!" I firmly believe that if you cannot laugh at yourself, you should never take the liberty of laughing at others. Rescuing turtles is a habit of mine. I will pull over to the side of the highway and take them out of the road. I am nice enough to take them to the side that they are heading to. To take them back the way they came would, well, would just be wrong. The little box turtles are very appreciative, but snapping turtles...well that's another story. They are terminally cranky and don't want to be rescued. (Found that out the hard way!) If you want to know that story..ask me and I'll tell ya. I have two sons...they are now grown sons. Raising them was quite an adventure and having a sense of humor helped the three of us live to tell about it. I worked for the Fort Knox Community Schools from January of 1984 until September 30th 12014. When I retired, I was the Purchasing Agent and Property Book Custodian for Macdonald Intermediate School, (Mac was reconfigured and changed to Macdonald Elementary School in July of 2014) my official job title is School Support Assistant.
