| About Me | I was a reporter for seven years, including five years at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. I got married to a woman I met in Arlington, Samantha Shub. We moved to California and I got a master's degree in history from the University of California at Riverside. We then moved back to Texas and I completed my docorate in history in 2002. My wife, who works as a school teacher, gave birth to a beautiful boy named Dominic who is the light of my life.
