As we draw closer to the six month countdown to the NFHS 50th reunion of the class of 1970 (next Friday, April 17th), I ask you for the following: those of you who plan to come, please send your $75 per person to Eliza Callow, 51192 W. Hills Dr., Plymouth, MI 48170, made out to NFHS ‘70. This will give us the funds we need to assure our space at the Embassy Suites Livonia/Novi. These funds will provide an absolutely wonderful dinner, hors d’oeuvres and dessert, as well as some delightful surprises.
Secondly, I have the names of eleven couples, both from our class, who are joined in marriage and still married to each other. If you can tell me the names of others, let me know! Here are the names of the couples that I have – Jerry Brown & Leslye Bobenage, Doug Valassis & Laurie Mordon, Glen Fleischhacker & Kay Tremblay, Steve Loe & Pauly Heuer, Alan Valade & Kris Wingle, Tim Colley & Joyce Barton, Mark Ramsey & Barb Najjar, Steve Pierdon & Sue Svoboda, Rick Mervine & Phyllis Vossos, Dave Meier & Annie “Laurie” Stultz and Greg Stephan & Elaine Ditto.
I have the names of 54 classmates who have died. Their names can be found on the FaceBook site, “In Memoriam North Farmington H.S., class of 1970”. If there are other people not on the list, please let me know.
That’s it for now. I have names of people on the Classmates.com site who say that they are coming and those who say they might come. I also have the list of those of you who came to the 45th reunion. Please contact all of your friends from the NFHS Class of ’70 and tell them about the reunion.
