| About Me | I spent 40 years as a social worker, in residential treatment, foster care and adoption, and in the Lansing School District. I travelled many places, my favorite being the coast of Maine. After placing approx. 85 children with adoptive families, I decided what I really wanted most was to be a mom, myself. I adopted my two amazing daughters from Russia (from different parts of Russia). They are currently (2021) 21 and 17. I am an older mom with younger kids, but can't imagine life without them.
