| About | As many of you know, Rog had a type of brain cancer. He died some time around January of this year (2024). So very sad. I will miss him! |

Rog was instrumental in remembering a classmate, Kathy Taylor Matthews, who had already passed. He always posted a tribute to her on her birthday which was read on FB, by many fellow past North band students.
Rog, thank you for your many kindnesses. Your voice will be missed. Condolences to all of your family.

He passed January 17th at his home, with his family with him. He fought a brave fight for almost two years and kept his remarkable sense of humor throughout. He happily celebrated his 45th wedding anniversary with his "bride", Theresa Maria Rizza Rogers. His son, Ross, is a police officer in Houston, son Kenny is a helicopter pilot in Oklahoma and son Eric is a sound engineer out of Arizona. Leslie Rogers Manix, class of 1970
