Mick attended North Eugene beginning his Junior Year 1964
A small gathering of friends occurred at his home! He was 77 yrs old at the time of his passing He was a long
time resident of Eugene!! He retired after providing many years as a
Special Education Teacher. He is survived by two Sisters Nancy Waggoner (Eugene) and Barbara
Waggoner (Portland)! Noteworthy Mick served a short time in prison for refusing to enlist in the military during the Vietnam War! He applied for a CO status but was refused! He was offered an opportunity to travel to Canada but proudly stood his ground and was willing to serve his required prison sentence! Provided by Nancy Waggoner (NEHS class 1969)
