About	Yolanda was born in Tarboro on Feb. 26, 1972, and lived here until she graduated from North Edgecombe High School in 1990. She then went away to Winston-Salem State University for two years before returning to Edgecombe County. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1993 with an associate’s degree from Edgecombe Community College. Yolanda worked for Heritage Hospital in Tarboro for six months in 2002. In 2006, she became a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with another degree from ECC and worked the night shift on the third floor at Heritage Hospital until her death. "She was always smiling and was a very good nurse," said Dr. Mark Petruzziello of Heritage Hospital. Yolanda made several friends while working at the hospital, all of which will miss her greatly. "She was sweet, kind of quiet and loved her patients," said Dottie Johnson, a registered nurse at Heritage Hospital. Yolanda also had a 15-year-old daughter Courtney S. Hart, 15, and a six-year-old son Mario Dupree Jr. "She was a great worker and the community was always praising her for her work," said Princeville Town Manager Sam Knight, her uncle. "Her family loved her dearly." Her classmates and friends will miss her dearly!!!!!!
