About Me	I am originally from a small town in Duplin county North Carolina called Faison. It is primarily known internationally for its produce of pickles and other agricultural produce. I graduated from North Duplin High School of Calypso, N.C. in 1977. I relocated to Durham, N.C. in 1981 to continue my studies at North Carolina Central University. I graduated from N.C. Central in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications. In 1985 I received my Master's from N.C. Central in Educational Media with a minor in Psychology. In May 2009, I completed my studies at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a Master’s in Information Science from the School of Library and Information Science. I have a Certificate of Completion from Art Illustration Schools out of Minneapolis. I also hold a Certificate in Commercial Art from James Sprunt Community College that I received in 1978. I previously worked for the Duke University Medical Center from 1986 to July of 1999 where I served as the Poster Session Coordinator for the Department of Educational Media from 1992 to 1999. I am currently an Instructional Designer/Visual Arts Specialist at The University of North Carolina at Chapel’s School of Nursing in the Department for Information and Instructional Technologies. My two favorite scriptures are Phil.1:6; & Jer. 29:11. I became a licensed ordained Evangelist in 1986 and am an active member at Refiner's Fire Community Church in Durham, NC. Elder Willie L. Jones, II is my Pastor and Shepherd. My vast number of hobbies includes many needle crafts, other arts and crafts where I can allow my gifts and talents to excel and the glory of the Lord to shine through.
