teve died from brain cancer in the Philippines, where he had been living since 2017.

During Jr. High and High School, Steve and I were good friends. We both played trombone and both participated in the Concert Band, the Marching Band and the "Stage Band" at North Central. As Freshmen, Steve and I buddied up on the Band's trip to Abbotsford, BC, Canada, to compete in a Marching Band competition. Lots of good memories. Rest in Peace, Steve.
