About	Dennis battled an autoimmune disease called Wegener's Granulomatosis for 10 years. He contracted it while in the USAF. Medication he was on to control the disease ended up causing leukemia. He had a stem cell transplant which worked for 6 months before the leukemia came back. He was undergoing treatment to have a full bone marrow transplant when he died.
