I joined the service several years after graduating.. I joined and shipped to my first duty station Fort Richardson In Anchorage Alaska,shortly there after I received deployment orders to head to Afghanistan in 2009 for OEF were i remained for 13months. I met my husband who is also still in the Army during my service who is now deploying for the 4th time in a few months.. I am beyond proud to have served my country and even prouder of my husband.

Senior rescue man during emergencies and capable of working positions as a Turret Man, Handline Man, Tanker Operator, Safety and Point Man.
Certifications include: firefighter I, II, ARFF, Public Telecommunication I, II, Driver Pumper Operator, ARFF Driver Pumper Operator, Fire Instructor I, II, III, Fire Inspector I, HAZMAT Operations and Awareness

I was an Infantryman at Ft. Stewart Ga. I was deployed to Iraq twice, 12 months in Samarra OIF3(05-06) where I got my purple heart, and for 15 months in Ramadi in OIF5(07-08) for a total of 27 months of being in Iraq.
