Hi my name is Peggy Carlander Scott. In 1959 a new marine recuit was given a class (to insure his acceptance at recruit school, Beaufort, S.C.) anyway he shipped out to Morrocco, N. Africa in Jan. 1960....We were on the same ship. My Dad was stationed at Port Lyauty. New Marine went to Boucnardale, 30 miles south of us... Long story short Boy-Girl fell in (something) he came home (states) I stayed there with family but he gave me this ring thinking I'd be coming home to him....didn't work out as planned soooooo after all these years this valuable momento to someone needs to be returned to the rightful owner....are you that owner?
