| About Me | It was amazing to always be the "renegade" or "outcast" at Normandy. I know "the clique" didn't understand why Patrick hooked up with me. So let me spell it out - I'm just barely genius and Patrick is genius ...just brighter. My comprehension says I can do just about anything...Briggs with all "x's". In simple terms, we answer each other's statements frequently and half the time I win the arguments! I'm older than just about all of you. My brother Mike got held back so Mom didn't want me to do his homework for him...so she held me back also! No kindergarten...two years of 1st grade! Born in Minnesota...moved to Casper, Wymoning. While there, chased a heard of wild mustangs down the driveway (I was 5). My sister Kay caught the white male but our mother would let us keep "the pony". Then we moved to Utah, where I was taught the Mormon version of history and treated badly because I was Catholic. Bowing shut down and Dad lost his job and the house...So we moved in with our sister Kay, who had married a guy from St. Louis. I got to St. Louis and the kids there weren't very friendly because of my Utah accent. There I got the other version of history - from the Missouri view! Lucky me - "The Utah Girl" ! Being 4 of 8 kids didn't help either. It's hard to dress "GQ" when your Mom thinks it's ok to wear you older sister's hand-me-down! I meet Patrick my Sophomore year! My friend Dourghty's sister had to take him on her dates to drive the car. Her date was my future husband - Patrick! We hooked up a year later! He stayed away because I was steady with an under classman or we would have been together sooner. YES - Love at first site! Patric still says ...(read more) |
