| About Me | I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in the 'burbs between Cleveland and Akron. Graduated from Nordonia High School in 1966. Married Gerald Brostek of Boston Heights in 1970. Son Dallas was born in 1973 in Cleveland. Daughter Apollonia ("Loni") was born in 1981 in Wichita, KS. I have lived in Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida, and South Carolina...and back to Florida - so far! I worked most of my life as a secretary/administrative assistant, with a 3 yr stint as a Deputy Sheriff in Branson, MO. I also worked 2 years at the local newspaper there, my all-time favorite job! My last 18+ years of working was for the Utilities Commission in New Smyrna Beach, FL, from which I retired in 2004. Divorced from Gerald (although we remain friends) in 1986, and moved to FL with the kids, started a new life for us. I was in a long standing relationship with a wonderful crazy man from NY, but he passed away in 2004.
