I started my freshman year in 1961-62, as Nogales High School was being built, I attented to Los Altos High School. Then I became Nogales, first Freshman princess. At our very first prom. Later in my sophomore, I was transfered to Rowland High School and that is where I graduated in the class of 1966. My name is in the Hall of Fame in Rowland High School. professional writer/poet.. My brother Melvin Lee East graduated from Nogales High School in 1965.
