| About Me | formerly Melanie Ziegler I currently live in Arvada, Colorado. I have three awesome children, ages 28, 19 and 14. My oldest, Jesse is home full time now. He was stationed in Japan and in Afghanistan serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. I am very proud of him. He completed a tour in Afghanistan and in Thailand. We know he did all that could be asked and expected of a U.S. Marine. He will make history. Emilia is 19, she attends Red Reds Community College and she is taking her pilots license lessons. She completed an internship at McAir Aviation and had been working as a lifeguard at the YMCA for over two years. She graduated high school in May 2012 with honors. She is athletic, smart and beautiful (she takes after her mother). Moira turned 14 in May 2014, (sounds like moy-rah, it's an old Irish name) she finished the eighth grade - officially on to high school. I expect that she will be a doctor or a scientist. She cracks me up, she says some of the most off the wall stuff. She is funny and brilliant (did I mention that she takes after her mother). My friends would describe me as intensely loyal, generous and courageous. My family will tell you I am passionate, dynamic and can't sit still. I will tell you that I am honest, tender hearted, funny and willful (did I mention knockdown, drag out gorgeous?). My life is full of color and large and mine by design.
