Entered the Army in September, 1959 at Ft. Ord, CA. Served two tours of duty on the DMZ in Korea with the 2nd Battalion, 20th Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division. Separated from active duty in 1963 as an E-4 (corporal).

Did 3 tours in Viet Nam, Station in Pearl Harbor,HI, 7 years and 2 years in San Diego, CA. Was a Engineman was on PBR's,Swift and MIKE boats and torpedo retriever boats. And was TAD to 19 embassys.
