| About Me | backpacked through Europe for 2 months; lived in Tampa for 3 years; SCUBA certified; got married on Martha's Vineyard 30 years ago (1996); My husband passed the Foreign Service exam and we moved overseas in 2010. First to Trinidad and Tobago. Then Kathmandu, Nepal (during the earthquake!), then Lagos, Nigeria, then Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) and currently we live in La Paz, Bolivia. We bought a condo in Reston, Virginia where our daughters take turns living. And we bought a 20 acre farm and house in Fennville, Michigan near Saugatuck in 2025. It’s currently on Airbnb until we retire in February 2030! We will leave Bolivia summer 2027 and go to one more overseas post. Our oldest daughter Sophia is working as a Clintech and studying to become an RN. Our middle daughter Grace graduated Cum Laude from ETSU In Johnson City, Tennessee. She wants to train service dogs.
