| About Me | That's pretty much covered above. I taught U.S. History at a large California university, California State University, Long Beach. I retired in 20004 and moved to beautiful, historic Astoria, Oregon. I live in a rural area called Olney, adjacent to Astoria, where we have a little under seven acres and peace and quiet when the log trucks are not clear cutting in our area, which they seem to be about finished with.
