Memorial Service: 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at the Grace Church, 4200 E. 25th St., in Des Moines.
Visitation: The family will greet friends from 4-8 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Grace Church, 4200 E. 25th St. in Des Moines.
Interment: Private family burial will be held on Tuesday, May 01, 2007 at the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton.
Those left to honor Lori's memory are her husband, Dallas; two sons, Kenny and Garrett Jackson of Altoona; and daughter, Cassandra Jackson of Altoona; parents, Leo “Nip” and Barbara Cobler of Newton; brother, Richard “Tucker” (Roxanne) Cobler of Lenexa, Kansas; grandmother, Floretta Cobler of Newton; Dallas’ “adopted” parents, Jerry and Marla Nerem of Lone Rock; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and many many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl C. Cobler; and Darrell R. and Zelma I. Couch; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth W. and Juliana L. Jackson.
Lori was a graduate of Newton High School in 1980 and of the McConnell School of Travel in Minneapolis, MN.
Lori grew up in Newton and has lived in the Des Moines and Altoona area since 1981. She worked as a customer service agent with TWA and American Airlines for 23 years; she also was a Mary Kay consultant for 12 years; and an office manager for Stubbs Home Builders for 4 years.
Lori was a member of the Grace Church and a member of the Newton High School Alumni Association. She was active in the Des Moines Christian School. She had also enjoyed traveling while working for the airlines. Lori loved her family and friends.
MEMORIALS to the Jackson children’s education fund (make checks payable to Dallas Jackson) or to the Taylor House may be left at the church at the times of the visitation and service or left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton or sent to Dallas Jackson, 405 6th St. NW, Altoona, IA 50009.
