About	Those left to honor Dusty's memory are his son, Dylan Crook of Newton; daughter, Cora Crook of Newton; his parents, Dan and Julie Crook of Newton and Diane and Fred Giesman of Kellogg; sisters, Nikki (and Chad) Christenson of Altoona, Ashley Giesman of Kellogg, Mindy Gearhart of Newton, Heather (and Eric) Maki of Newton, and Cassie (and Brian) Crummett of Camargo, Illinois; and his maternal grandmother, Jean Andersen of Baxter. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. Dusty was a 1992 graduate of Newton High School. He was employed in the warehouse of Lomar Food in Des Moines, Iowa.
