| About Me | I had a great career as a teacher of English, French, and Film Analysis at Mendham N.J. High School for 40 years; I’m now retired. In addition to teaching, I was the advisor to the school newspaper, and the Nat’l Honor Society, and I created the school’s first web site and served as the webmaster for 10 years. I enjoyed taking student groups on annual trips to various countries in Europe for 33 years. In addition to high school teaching, I taught in the English Dept. at Montclair State University for 10 years. I now keep busy doing regular volunteer work for a couple of local places. I go to Paris, France a couple of times a year. It’s my favorite city in the world. I love it there! There’s actually a street there, Rue Newton (“Newton Street,” no kidding!) I also frequently visit Charleston, South Carolina, another of my favorite places. We own a condo on Kiawah Island. It’s a beautiful resort island, very close to Charleston.
