About Me	Studied biology at SDSU then took off for a summer in Alaska which changed my life. Married my wonderful husband and spent 7 years in Alaska working in microbiology labs in the winters and camping and doing photography in the summers. When our first son was born we moved to MN to my husband's family farm. In 2001 we bought a house near Deadwood and became "semi-retired."
