Fred passed unexpectedly on June 15, 2014. He is survived by his parents, 4 siblings, 2 daughters, and 3 grandsons.

When Fred and his family moved next door early in our childhoods I felt liberated from being the only young person in the neighborhood. Suddenly a peer could be found with a casual back yard stroll. Things were looking up. I became involved. On Saturdays his father a distributor of cigarettes, a motor cycle owner, and later owner of his own Sunoco gas station showed me another type of family. That was the beginning of a new way of seeing.I appreciate those memories and hope my childhood friend had a wonderful life.
