About Me	I joined the Navy in November 1984 attending Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. I was enlisted for 19 years with tours on three submarines out of Bangor, WA and Pearl Harbo, HI. I did two shore tours at a major submarine repair facility in WA and at the Submarine Development Squadron in San Diego. I then served as a Submarine Engineering Repair Officer for 14 year serving in Guam, Pearl Harbor, and Newport, RI. I retired in 2017 after 30+ years of active service and a couple years if reserve duty. I am now the Quality Engineer for a Autonomous Undewater Vehicle developer and manufacturer. I married in 1990 and we are still happily married and have two children. My daughter is in college in a double major program (Physics/Aerospace Engineering) at Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame. My son is currently in high school here in Rhode Island. I am still active as a runner. I have completed 5 marathons (Honolulu 3 times, Chicago, and New York) all after turning 40 years old.
