About Me | Relocated to Columbus, Ohio, in January 2015 after living 19 years in the Northern Virginia area just outside Washington, DC, having moved from Ohio in 1982. Other past places of residence include Monterey, CA, and Munich, Germany. I am currently in the process of building a home in the Northstar Residential Community in southeast Delaware County. I have one wonderful and amazing daughter, Sarah, who just earned a Bachelor of Science, majoring in neuroscience, from The Ohio State University. I earned a Bachelor in Music Education and Master of Arts in Education from The Ohio State University. And, have a lot of additional graduate work in Soviet (Russian) and comparative education studies, history, and philosophy. Official Current Career Description: Manages supply chain planning for a full-service, Columbus-based provider of global manufacturing and supply chain management services for North American OEMs. Official Past Career Description: Diverse three decade plus career within the U.S. Intelligence Community with extensive working experience in mission management, collection and operations, analysis and production, research and technology, and enterprise management and support; includes private sector corporate experience in personnel management, project management, business development, contracting, and customer relations. Previous work experience demanded rigorous analysis of many large, disparate data sets considering all known and discoverable variables and possible contingencies to enable and support critical, time sensitive decisions the outcome of which could prove beneficial or detrimental to US national interests. Previous “big data” experience demanded the discovery and identification, retrieval and processing, verification and validation, evaluation and exploitation of large, complex data sets necessitating the design and development of unique to data set methodologies and specialized data analysis tools. I just started a new career as a Supply Chain Planning Manager for MES Inc., a provider of global manufacturing and supply chain management services for North American OEMs. Countries and US Territories visited: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahama, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Holy See (Vatican City State), Hungary, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and Virgin Islands (US). Member, Board of Directors, One Neighborhood Home Owners Association. Representing owners and residents of Neighborhood Launch in downtown Columbus, Ohio, the city's first neighborhood designed to fit naturally within the downtown landscape. Neighborhood Launch begins at the corner of Fourth and Gay streets and extends east toward the Columbus College of Art & Design. When complete, this eclectic collection of homes will encompass nine city blocks. Member-elect, Board of Directors, Berwyn East Academy.
