About	Jon graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1973. On January 29, 1980, he married the former Sandra Petersheim and together the couple raised three sons, Ryan, Aaron and Alex. Jon was employed as a machinist at the former Shenango Company at Dover. Then he worked for Joy Manufacturing/Howden-Buffalo at New Philadelphia until his retirement in 2008.
