| About Me | Early riser. Loves the quiet, peaceful way of life. Prefer the cold weather to the hot but the Fall is the best of all worlds. Moved to Illinois, from Demarest, in Dec. 2013. I'm just outside of St. Louis now in a rural area. It's beautiful out here but definitely miss Bergen County. Just too expensive although I'd move back in a second if I could afford it. Rural areas have "no services". I have to actually pump my own gasoline into my car - give me a break. Doesn't snow much out here which is good cause there are no snow plows to speak of. No police. I think I've seen like 5 police cars since I moved here. Lots of open space though. Oh boy. I totally love being alone which most cannot understand. I just like the quiet, peaceful, no hassle life and retirement is the best. I find there aren't enough hours in the day. ...(read more) |
