Dee was the best friend you could ever have. We were friends from when she first came to the states - i believe - 1960. She was 15 and I was 14. I loved her Irish accent and her way of looking at the world...truly "rose-colored" when we first met. Our kids grew up together and consider each other cousins...and I am "Aunt Wendy". I miss her terribly...Wendy Mercaldi Sip
