| About Me | Attended Campbell College (now University) and then Western Carolina Univ where I met my future husband. Earned BS in Ed in 1981. Married same year. Moved 1000 miles from anyone we knew and stayed gone for 12 years. Air Force spouse until 1989. Lived on all four coasts. Earned MBA in 1995. Trained tellers in Dallas, wrote technical manuals for TX computer company, ran medical conferences for Univ. of TX in Galveston, became an EMT in 1997 in PA, ran CERT program for county Emergency Management Agency. Currently a consultant in Disaster Management on east coast, which means I teach preparedness and ICS to businesses and organizations. On staff of local EOC for disaster response. Have been an auditor for my municipality for more than 10 years. Have served on Board of Directors of multiple ambulance services. Playing flute again in community band. Did my city time in Buffalo, Sacramento, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Galveston/Houston, and Altoona. Now live in the country and love it. No TV, no cable. All internet by satellite.
