Born in Wilmington, North Carolina on 15th January 1993, Kadeem Allen is a prominent figure in the world of basketball. After a stellar high school basketball career, initially at Laney High School and later at New Hanover High School, Allen moved onto college basketball. He first played for Hutchinson Community College, where he exhibited exceptional skills with a freshman average of 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in the 2012-13 season. As a sophomore, he was impressive with an average of 25.9 points, 5.9 assists and 2.3 steals per game, and was named Junior College Player of the Year in 2014. He ended his college career at the University of Arizona, where he averaged an admirable 9.8 points, 1.6 steals, and 4.0 rebounds per game in his senior year.

His professional career began in 2017 when he was chosen by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the NBA draft, where he played until 2018. During this period, he also spent time with the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics' G League affiliate team. Allen was named to the NBA G League All-Defensive Team in 2018, and he also received the honor of NBA G League Player of the Week after averaging 38 points per game over a week. This included an incredible 46-point game against the Long Island Nets. He later joined the Westchester Knicks for the 2018-2019 season.
