About Me	Ball State graduate and former English teacher, now retired. My wife is retired from the University of Indianapolis after 19 years of stellar service. Sandy is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. We split our time between our permanent home in Indianapolis and our "get-away" country cottage in Culver, Indiana. There is no finer lake than Lake Maxinkuckee! We have two sons. Andy, our oldest, works for Meijer's Food Processing Plant in Lansing, MI in Quality Control and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in food sciences. Our youngest son, James, graduated from U of I with a degree in criminal justice and has been a police officer in the Indianapolis area for 15 years. On 5/7/2011, in a reverse legacy, I became a police officer in Southport, Indiana. We have four grandsons and one granddaughter, ages 12,11, 5 (he loves his grampy best but I a...(read more)
