About	Kathy J. Bertram Branscum, age 58, New Castle resident, passed away November 30, 2012 at the Waters. She was born July 3, 1954 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel Rains Bertram. She had resided in New Castle most of her life. A graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, she had worked as a Supervisor over housekeeping at Henry County Hospital and also had worked for several local nursing homes. She attended several local churches. She enjoyed family activities and loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, and playing piano. Left to cherish her loving memory include: Husband, Jack Branscum, five Children; Angie Reno of Kentucky, Michelle Smith (Greg) of New Castle, Amanda Branscum of New Castle, Jacky Boyd (husband Danny) of Springport, Gary L. Branscum of New Castle, eleven Grandchildren; Reno Cook, Haley Smith of New Castle, Abby Stroebel of New Castle, Tara Stroebel of New Castle, Christian Stroebel of New Castle, Alex Boyd of Springport, Iva Boyd of Springport, Briana Boyd of Springport, J.D. Langdon of Springport, Jimmy Langdon of Springport, Jackie Hernandez of Middletown, one Sister Linda Davis of Kentucky, two Brothers; Gleason Bertram (Sharon) of New Castle, Bill Bertram (Joyce) of New Castle, several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins, special Niece April Bertram of Kentucky, best Friend and Caregiver Joyce Langdon, Brothers and Sisters-in-law; Gary Branscum of New Castle, Rick Branscum of New Castle, Jerry Branscum of Ohio, Leon (Donna) Branscum of Ohio, Jim Branscum (wife Carol) of Kentucky, Nancy Meece of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by Parents; Ethel and Marie Rains Bertram, Sister, Hazel Bertram, Mother and Father-in-law, James and Iva Branscum, Niece, April Bertram, good Friend Jeff Langdon. Visitation will be Tuesday December 4, 2012 from 6- 9 P.M. at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services in New Castle. Funeral Service will Be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 5, 2012 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services in New Castle with Rev. Bobby Slagle officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery.
