David Arley Donica, age 59, New Castle resident, passed away Thursday, Apr. 4,2013 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield,IN
He was born Sept. 28,1953 in New Castle,IN a son of the late Winford Arley and Violet Marie (Worley) Donica.
He was a New Castle resident most of his life, and was a 1972 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He was employed by Modernfold Industry for 27 years, and was employed by the Pendleton Correctional Facility for 12 years. He attended the Bible Holiness Church in New Castle. He loved family activities, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed movies, especially John Wayne westerns and Three Stooges movies.
Left to cherish his loving memory include: his wife of 38 years, Anita A. (Haynes) Donica;whom he married Jan. 18,1975;1 daughter, Wendy (husband: Aaron) White of New Castle; 3 grandchildren, Cheyenne Chesher and Cameron Chesher,both of Greenfield and Paris Washington of New Castle;10 siblings, Kathleen Hinton of Florida, Gail Donica (wife Opal) of Florida, Donald Donica (Stella) of New Castle, James Donica of New Castle, Gary Donica (Marsha) of South Carolina, Charles Donica (Pearl) of Utah, Lloyd Donica (Debbie) of Va., Otis Donica (Juanita) of New Castle, Charlotte Anderson (Mike) of New Castle and Karen Donica of Muncie; also many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; father-in-law, Frank Haynes; 1 brother, Gerald Dean Donica; 1 sister, Madaleen Donica; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday Apr. 7,2013 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, Apr. 8,2013 at the funeral home with Rev. Brenda Wallick officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle.
