About	Judy V. Bir, age 57 of Conyers, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011. She is survived by her husband, David Bir, Conyers; daughter, Mary Kathryn Bir, Savannah; sister, Cathne Holt, Pagosa Springs, CO; nieces, Melissa Sumpter, Telluride, CO, Kaia Sumpter, Pagosa Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. & Ella Mae Holt. Mrs. Bir was a Paraprofessional at Oak Hill Elementary School in Newton County and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 4:00 p.m. with Father John Kieran officiating; interment will take place at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in New Castle, IN. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Services, Green Meadow Chapel. She was a daughter of the late Roy E. and Ella Mae Holt. She was raised in New Castle, and was a 1972 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. She also received an Associate Degree from Ball State University in 1974 , and a Dental Assistant Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1975. She as associated with Dr. David Dickey as a Dental Assistant while living in New Castle. Mrs. Bir was a Para professional at Oak Hill Elementary School in Newton county Georgia, and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers. She loved family activities various crafts including cross stitching, and sewing Left to cherish her memory include her husband David Bir of Conyers, GA., one daughter ; Mary Kathryn Bir of Savannah, GA., one sister; Cathne Holt of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, nieces; Melissa Sumpter of Telluride, Colorado, Kaia Sumpter of Pagoso Springs, Colorado.
