About Me	As much as I enjoy my husband, daughter, son, family and friends, no relationship in my life brings me more pure joy than my relationship with God. I certainly haven't "arrived" in some mystical place, nor have I made even these steps quickly or casually. I've grown to enjoy God with time. Not every minute I spend with him is gleeful or great fun. Intimacy with God grows through sharing every realm of experience. I've wept bitterly with Him. I've screamed in frustration. Sometimes, I thought He was going to break my heart in two. But I've also laughed out loud. Wept with unspeakable joy. Gone to my knees in awe. Squealed in excitement. I have been to every extremity and back with God. But if I had to to define my relationship with Him by one general statement, I would tell you that He is the absolute joy of my life. I don't just love Him. I love loving Him. Surrendering my heart to Him has not been a sacrifice. I don't know any other way to say it: He works for me. Please hear my heart when I tell you that the greatest joy in my life is the very thing I deserved the least. I consider the ability to love Him and enjoy Him an absolute gift of grace.....one He will gladly extend to anyone who offers Him her whole heart. I know a little of what the apostle Paul meant when he said in 2 Corinthians 11:2, "I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy." My friend, I am "jealous" for you to enjoy God. I want it so badly for you that I can hardly stand it. I want God to be the greatest reality in your life. I want you to be more assured of his presence than any other you can see or touch. Yes, this can be your reality. This is your right as a child of God. We were destined for this kind of relationship with God. Don't believe the lie that the Christian life is sacrificial at best and artificial at worst.
