Before leaving, he made sure that his family knew he would be waiting to greet them with Jesus when they arrive in Heaven. Born April 7, 1950, Larry’s birthstone is the diamond and that’s what Larry was-a diamond in the rough. Hardest of minerals, unfinished, but so very valuable. He was full of knowledge on many subjects and always eager to share that knowledge and help anyone in his path. His greatest expertise and love was for classic cars and Bengal cats. His advice, freely given, was almost always right on target. Larry was the precious son of Lawrence (Debby) Charles Doeppenschmidt and Nadine (Enck) Doeppenschmidt. He was a proud graduate in 1969 of New Braunfels High School. He and Jonni Stewart were married December 24, 1970. He is greatly missed.
