About Me	I worked in the Personnel Office at the Continental Screw Company. After Jack and I got married in 1957, we moved to Arllington, VA., where he was stationed in the U.S. Army. I worked for the Dept. of the Interior while we were living there. Upon his discharge, we came back to New Bedford and started our family. I stayed home and raised my 3 children. When the youngest went to school, I went to work as a paraprofessional in the New Bedford School Dept. I started taking courses and 8 years later had my degree. Started teaching in 1984 and taught math at Normandin Jr. High. I retired in 1999. We are now fortunate enough to spend 6 months of the yea...(read more)
