| About Me | i did the family thing for 15 years, until the ex left (see note "a new life"). i'm not a player and i'm not a dog, but i am (i guess, from what i've been told!) a pretty good dancer, so at the club i have a lot of fun. many people mis-read me, which tells me a lot about where they are coming from. the haters, i collect their souls (i need a BIGGER box!). the young (and sometimes not so young!) ladies are rightfully leary of me, but the ones with big hearts, they figure me right out, and they are not afraid to let me know that they appreciate what i do (see my other notes about dancing). i NEVER publicly, willingly danced until 14 jul 07. i had no background, no experience. i am a concrete form carpenter (25+years), some of the bustingest ass work that there is (ask around). i am a community activist (see note on pawnbrokers), and a major opponent of hess/weaver's cove lng. they have a license, with 77 conditions. "I" am condition 40, and i can not be bought off (fuck them, they are ass holes!). my name was on the "05 ballot because of it (city council! who would have thought!?) i have studied astrology and the tarot. most of my new friends of the last 3 years are under thirty (second childhood? i didn't know i had left the first one! hahaha). i don't try to be one of the kids, i try to make them be grownups (when i inadvertantly chase a group of ladies away i remind myself that this IS the big people's side!). the guys that hit thirty (the non-haters) and start to worry that youth has left them take me as an inspiration (if i can do it, so can they). part of my secret (how do i do what i do at fifty?), eat fish and chicken, drink water, take vitamins, green leafies, avoid bleached flour. work hard, honor your temple, give until it hurts, do the right thing, fight the good fight. be true, be honest, be real. don't forget what the good book says, your works will be paid back seven for one, the good and the bad. i have always considered myself somewhat of an avenging angle. when i come into people's lives they get their due. what they have sewn i watch them reap. it is not anything that i do, i'm there more just as a witness. it usually has something to do with saturn (7 years to departing square, 14 to opposition, 21 to approaching square, 28 to return). as much as it sucks to see people that you love pay their price (for bad choices), is how great it is to see them get their rewards (for good choices). i gave up alcohol at 17, figuring that would be one small part that i could play in making the world a better place. don't get me wrong, i love to party (you can take that to mean whatever you will), but i NEVER accept drunk as an excuse, and i never offer it as one. beer and wine in my house are more likely to be cooked with than drank. i like cognac (with expresso, doubles!), and i drink screwdrivers only (half oj, half clear alcohol) at the club, four max(i never leave the club under the influence). i've been asked "what do i think, that i'm better than other people?" well, that depends on how you rate people. i'm fast, strong, smart, have a big heart, work hard, give of myself, etc. so, yeah, from what i see of most people, i am better. i am a rare, spontaneous, unexpected, bold, curious, intriguing, intuitive, fearless, unusual, audacious, brash, undaunted, irreverent, daring, dynamic, maverick, unbridled, soulful, provocative, strong, wild, unwavering, romantic, genuine, unorth...(read more) |
