About	BOSTON — Diana D. (Sherley) Boyd, 58, of New Bedford, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Tufts Medical Center. Born in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Thelma L. (Stroud) Sherley of New Bedford and the late Edwin M. Sherley, she lived in New Bedford most of her life. She was an active member of the United House of Prayer For All People. She served as general secretary for her church for many years. Mrs. Boyd was employed as an accounts manager with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for many years. She enjoyed singing and working at her church. Survivors include her mother; two daughters, Nikisha McMillian and her husband Antonio of Springfield and Shantelle Boyd of New Bedford; a sister, Betty Hudson of Bolivar, TN; three grandchildren, Antonisha, Antonio, Jr. and Antonaya; a niece and nephew; and a host of cousins. Her Homegoing Service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 6 PM at the United House of Prayer for All People, 419 Kempton St., New Bedford. Viewing at the House of Prayer prior to the service from 5-6 PM. Funeral procession will leave the House of Prayer on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 8:45 AM for a committal service at Pine Grove Cemetery at 9 AM.
