About	Steven Edward Mather, age 57 of Wrentham passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Carol R. (Orlowski) Mather with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in New Bedford, the son of Joseph and Lois R. (Holmes) Mather, he resided in Franklin prior to moving to Wrentham 26 years ago. Steven was a graduate of New Bedford High School Class of 1973 and Bristol Community College and worked as a manager at Cisco for over 20 years. Steven and Carol enjoyed their bowling league in their early years, but really enjoyed their vacations in St. Maarten and many cruises. Carol was the love of Steve's life. He will be remembered for his intellect, discipline, charisma and his unerring devotion to his best friend and wife Carol. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a brother Dennis R. Mather and his wife Susan of Pensacola, FL; a sister, Janice A Calichman of Peabody; 2 nephews, Joseph "Joey" M. Santos of Wrentham, whom Steven raised as his own son; Kris Blackburn, 3 nieces, Tonya Torres, Heather Goodman, Stefanie Phillips, a sister-in-law, Sheila Orlowski of Pawtucket, RI, who has supported the family through everything, his father-in-law Francis Orlowski of Pinellas Park, FL; and his beloved canine friend Katie with whom he shared hours of play and love.
