About	New Bedford - Brian A. Woody Woodacre, aged 51 years, died Friday,March 12, 2010, at home, after a long illness. He was the loved brother of Barry and Kingsland C. Alves both of New Bedford. Mr. Woodacre was a son of the late James Woodacre and Lillian (Ashley) Renaux. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Woodacre was employed by the City of New Bedford Highway Department until his illness. Woody was an avid fan of football, as well as a player for local softball teams for many years. In accordance with his wishes he will have a graveside service on Monday March 15th at Acushnet Cemetery at 2 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
