NEW BEDFORD-Judith L. Borges, 65 of New Bedford died unexpectedly Monday, February 12, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital with her Godchild Erin by her side. Born in New Bedford Judith was the daughter of the late Leonard A. Borges, Sr. and Hope E. (Lent) Borges. Judith was formerly employed as a retail manager in the greeting cards industry. She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. Her many interests include listening to a wide range of music, playing miniature golf and bowling. Judith was also a talented painter.
Her family includes Nieces and Nephews: Elissa M. Quinones, Ellery Reynolds, David Reynolds, Jr., David Reynolds, III, Daniel Reynolds, Christy Reis and Joseph Borges as well as Great Nieces and Great Nephews; Godchild: Erin Adams and several Cousins. She was the sister of the late Michael Borges and Leonard A. Borges, Jr.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Mount Pleasant St. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. Kindly go directly to the church.
