Barbara A. (David) Bennett, 63, a life long resident of New Bedford, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the widow Donald Bennett.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Joseph David and the late Theresa (Hardin) David, she was a graduate of New Bedford High School, and she worked as a teacher’s aide in the New Bedford Public School System. Barbara was a communicant of Our Lady of Purgatory Maronite Church.
She is survived by three brothers, Peter David and his wife Tina, and Joseph David all of New Bedford, and Douglas David and his wife Robin of North Dartmouth; also a nephew Nicholas David and a niece Jesselynn David.
A memorial visitation time will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 5-7PM in the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven, MA. A private prayer service will follow.
