About	Heidi M. (Mello) Andrews, 65, of Plymouth formerly of New Bedford died August 12, 2023 at home surrounded by her family after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of George T. Andrews, Jr. Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Lionel M. and Elvira P. (Pracana) Mello, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Plymouth in 1990. She was formerly employed as a social worker with Old Colony Elderly Services before retiring from Coastline Elderly Services. She enjoyed cooking and arts and crafts. Survivors include her husband George; her daughters, Marie and her husband Jonathan and Emma; a sister, Karen; a brother, Lionel; 3 grandchildren, Haley, Avarie and Logan; and several nephews. Her visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 17th from 4-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18th at 11 AM in the funeral home followed by burial in Rural Cemetery.
