About	David Anthony Koska, 63 of New Bedford, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in St. Luke’s Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Stanley and Helen (Manning) Koska. Born in New Bedford, David was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational High School, class of 1976. Where he played football, basketball, and ran track. He was employed as an Electrician for many years with B&M Electric and David Souza Electric. David loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In his younger years, David enjoyed camping with his family. He spent a lot of his time being an avid NE sports fan, never missing a game. David is survived by his daughters, Amanda Koska of New Bedford and Stephanie Couto and her husband Rui of Dartmouth; four grandchildren, Alex, Aiden, Hannah and Hudson; his three brothers, James Koska and his wife Kelly of New Bedford, Timothy Koska and his companion Paula of Acushnet, Stanley Koska Jr. and his wife Claudia of New Bedford and Annbeth Koska of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John S. Koska and Rosemarie Koska. David’s Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00PM in the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745.
