About	Matthew J. Wilde, 57, of New Bedford died December 4, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital after a period of declining health. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late William L. and Dorothy B. (Travers) Wilde, he lived in New Bedford most of his life. Matthew was a kind and gentle person who was loyal to the Dallas Cowboys and the sparrows that he fed every morning. Survivors include 2 sisters, Virginia Wilde of Dartmouth and Geraldine Wilde of Fall River; A brother, Daniel Wilde and his wife Linda of New Bedford; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Wilde of Dartmouth; his good friend, Laurie Pereira of Winter Haven, FL; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late William Wilde. His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 11:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. His family will receive guests on Saturday from 11 - 11:30 AM prior to his service.
