About	John Machado III SEPTEMBER 18, 1958 – APRIL 14, 2015 John Machado III, age 56, of New Bedford, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was the husband of Pauline M. (Barrieau) Machado, to whom he had been married for 26 years. Born in New Bedford, the son of the late John and Joaquina “Tina” Machado he was a lifelong resident of the city. John was employed as a Metal Fabricator in Wareham for over 20 years and also worked for Ocean Spray for over 10 years in Middleboro. Mr. Machado also served his country in the United States Navy for seven years. Favorite hobbies of his were bowling, fishing, and scratch tickets. Avid New England Patriots fan; never missed a game. Politics were of the upmost importance to him. Of course to add to all this spending time with his family was always his biggest priority. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Thomas Machado of New Bedford; a brother Donald Machado of Corvallis, OR and a sister Jackie Matton and her husband Paul Matton of Clearwater, FL and several nieces and nephews. Private arrangements are in the care of the ROCK FUNERAL HOME, New Bedford.
