About	MS. BRUNETTELAURIE A. BRUNETTE NEW BEDFORD -- Laurie A. (Craveiro) Brunette, 46, of Crossroads Drive, North Dartmouth, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Donald and Eleanor (Bowler) Craveiro of New Bedford, she lived in North Dartmouth for 20 years, moving there from New Bedford. She attended New Bedford High School. Ms. Brunette worked for the customer service desk at the former Ames Store on Kings Highway and also worked for a short time for OCB and Vanity Fair. She was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ. She enjoyed all the time she could have with her grandson and enjoyed reading, cooking, music and going to concerts with her daughter and her friends. She was grateful to her friend Louise Bruce and enjoyed spending time with her, talking, going out to eat and going for rides together. Survivors include her parents; two sons, Jeff R. Brunette of Lakeville and Zakaray S. Brunette of New Bedford; a daughter, Barbie R. Brunette of North Dartmouth; a brother, Mark W. Craveiro of New Bedford; two sisters, Donna L. Sawyer of Silver Spring, Md., and Lois A. Craveiro of New Bedford; a niece, Anna M. Sawyer; a nephew, Wesley E. Sawyer; a grandson, Benjamin Charles Brunette of Lakeville; several cousins, including Ronnie Craveiro; and aunts and uncles. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Donaghy-Hathaway Funeral Home, 465 County St. Burial will be private.
